We have added a 2nd page to our blog that includes links to sites and information we have gathered that will help us on our Europe trip.  We hope others can also get useful information from this page, please feel free to comment and add any links you have found useful on this 2nd page (see the tab titled 'Links and Gathered Information' at the top of our blog.

Flights and stop over booked (NZ - Dubai - UK)

Susan and Edzer have booked their flights out of New Zealand on the 7th of May with a 2 night stop over in Dubai, then flying into Manchester on the 10th of May.  Rachel and Sir Lambalot are counting the days. 

This is where they will stay in Dubai, oo-la-la! A well deserved break for them both:

Our Nomadic Mascot - Sir Lambalot

Our Story!

We are three (well four if you count Sir Lambalot).  A family venturing out on an adventure to explore life, countries, Culture, Food and Landscapes together.  To cross as many things off our bucket lists as possible, meet new people, create long lasting bonds and new friendships.  Live, Love and Learn along the Way!

In May 2012 Susan and Edzer (Mum and Papa) will join Rachel (Daughter) and Sir Lambalot (Mascot) in the UK where a mobile home will be procured and an epic journey planned.

After spending a short time with family in England, the road trip will begin!

First port of call will be The Netherlands as Edzers family is from there and we will start by visiting them, Rachel meeting them for the first time.

We have still to make a basic route plan to follow and will be putting this together over the next few weeks, suggestions are welcome, we are in no hurry!

The name KNOLMADS is a combination of Edzers family name (Knol) and of course nomads, welcome to our blog.
